Cleaning up at Caffè Nero!
Our recent project took us to the picturesque town of Yarm, where we were subcontracted through a facilities management company to clean upholstery in the local Caffè Nero.
It’s natural for any piece of furniture to become grubby after a while, especially in such a well-frequented cafe. Such was the reason for our visit, with 8 chairs to restore and leave freshly cleaned for people to enjoy their coffee in comfort.
We do a fair bit of upholstery cleaning in our line of work on-site so as to minimise disruption. We always ensure that we schedule works for a time that suits the client best. Because of this, we arrived at Caffè Nero before the cafe opened, and were able to get their chairs cleaned in time for their scheduled opening time.

As you can see from the before and after shots, we achieved a fabulous result! The chairs had a number of ground-in stains on them, probably from an accumulation of spillages over time. Using our experience and expertise, we were able to return the upholstery to its former glory, much to the café manager’s delight!
As the upholstery was made from microfibre, we made sure to give it a good deep clean using our specialist equipment and utilised our training from Texatherm systems to use enzymes to break down stubborn soil and stains.
We’re committed to continual training in the latest cleaning techniques so that we can avoid using harsh chemicals and give your furniture the best care it deserves.
After all the hard work was done, we were kindly rewarded with a delicious iced coffee before packing up and heading on to our next assignment… sluuuurrrrrp!
