The Customer:
Staybridge Suites is a centrally located, contemporary hotel in the heart of Newcastle Upon Tyne. The establishment provides suites and rooms for holidaying families and corporate professionals alike who need access to medium and short-term dwellings with kitchens and home-from-home facilities.
The Issue:
Due to the busy nature of this establishment, we noted that the carpets in the reception and lounge areas needed a refresh. The carpets had several deep-rooted stains and marks because of the frequent foot traffic and occasional liquid spills.
The Solution:
Our team was selected for this task as we have previously worked with national brands, such as The Holiday Inn, so we have a deep understanding of the nature of the working environment.
With this in mind, our team mobilised quickly to ensure disruption was minimal. With this in mind, we operated during the quieter times of the hotel’s week, during a weekday when most professionals would be at work.
We provided a full deep clean of the highlighted carpets, operating a portable cleaning appliance which has minimal trailing hoses – providing a highly prioritised safety clean for the guests and staff by minimising the risk of tripping.
During this cleaning job, we used equipment that was access controlled, allowing us to work on small areas at a time before finishing the job with a bonnet and air-moving equipment, meaning the carpet was fresh, clean, and dried in no time to once again minimise any hazard that can be caused by a wet carpet.
The Results:
The job was completed efficiently and to a high standard – much to the delight of the manager and operational staff. Due to the exceptional quality of the service provided, the Staybridge team offered us the opportunity to work on other jobs on the premises and we look forward to maintaining this establishment’s carpets and flooring in the future.
